Wednesday, 13 June, 11am.We will be visiting George Thompson’s workshop where he will speak to us about his rose breeding program. Meet at George’s shed on Giles Road, Willunga.
A celebration of rose hips. Themes of Propagation, Decoration and Production will be addressed and members are invited to bring hips from their own gardens; also rose seedlings, produce, crafts or recipes using rose ingredients.
Saturday, 7 July from 11.00am to 3.00pm.
The annual pruning day at Urrbrae House.

Barossa & Beyond
Saturday May 26th From 9.30am
Working bee at the Barossa Old Rose Repository. The roses really need to have a bit of tender loving care to curb the grappling tendrils, to dig up irises, remove kikuyu, then replant the border of the old purple tall bearded irises. A huge expanse of couch also needs to be reined in too. Please bring tools and morning tea and plenty of energy.
